Aspect Four Demolition had won the tender of demolition works for the now award winning Drayton Garden Village regeneration. This project comprises of 800 new homes, an 80 bedroom care home, retail, office space and a Sainsbury’s food store. Following the demolition of over 500,000 ft.sq. of redundant buildings, a new community has risen.
This huge site was being demolished and prepared to make way for a brand new community in West Drayton. The previous National Air Traffic Site had been purchased by Inland Homes and needed to be cleared in order to start the regeneration project.
Aspect Four Demolition had to ensure all buildings and structures were demolished and slabs beneath were broken and removed from site. The demolition works were carried out in accordance with The Code of Practice for Demolition BS 6187:2011.
As a separate contractor had carried out asbestos removal, work was able to start immediately ensuring the timescales was realistically met.
All demolition waste and arising was removed from site and recycled/reused.
